Inspired by Ai Weiwei’s philosophy behind the art making process, I created a series that encapsulates my mental journey of immigrating to Sudbury, Canada. The series focuses on the process in which the images were created as the images were taken when I felt extremely stressed. The camera has become a tool to create peace in times of stress due to the cultural shock. The images are framed and composed to invoke peacefulness because in the process of making these images I created peace my own peace.
